With the touch of a finger, drag planets, moons and asteroides into space. Watch as gravity causes the planets to accelerate toward each other. Relax as you watch your planets interact on their own or influence them by dragging the planets to new locations with your finger. With a little cleverness, position your planets so they orbit around each other. Once you have your planets gliding around each other, tun on the 'Trails' feature to trace out your planet's paths resulting in beautiful patterns and images. Use the artistic tools to control how your planets move about the screen to create interesting patterns and designs. Make the planets bounce off each other like billiard balls or make them pass through each other like a ghost. Lock on to a planet to view the planetary motion from the point of view of that planet or let your planets drift unabated viewing them as an independent observer in space. Gillian's Planets is a toy for the iPad. There is no score or winning or losing so it's not a true game. There is no specific problem to solve so it's not a puzzle. You just play with it, have fun and create amazing patterns aided only by Newton's natural law of gravity.
